Needle — Ultra-fine tip for intricate detail work. Perfect for delicate fossil cleaning around fragile structures or micro-engraving on jewellery and small metal pieces.
3-Face (Pyramid) — Three-sided cutting geometry creates consistent, angular cuts. Ideal for cross-hatching, texturing stone surfaces, and controlled material removal.
Long Sharp — Extended reach sharp tip for accessing tight spaces and deep crevices. Particularly useful in fossil preparation where standard tips can't reach.

Material & Compatibility

All tips are manufactured from solid tungsten carbide — one of the hardest materials available, significantly outlasting standard steel tips. Tungsten carbide maintains its cutting edge through extended use on hard substrates including limestone, sandstone, granite, ceramic, glass, and hardened metals.

These tips are fully compatible with the Dremel 290 electric engraver and fit the standard 0.8mm collet. They are not suitable for high-speed rotary tools.
